Building Connections: Meet the Development Team

Ever Wonder How a Development Team is Created and Who’s On It?

In construction and development, a successful project depends on a well-structured and collaborative team. Each role within the team contributes uniquely to the project’s efficiency, quality, and completion. Let’s take a look at how these teams are built and who fills the critical roles.

At the helm is the Project Executive (PX), responsible for overseeing the company’s portfolio of projects. They ensure strategic alignment, manage high-level client relationships, and provide the vision needed to steer multiple projects in the right direction.

The Senior Project Manager (Senior PM) serves as a bridge between the Project Executive and the individual projects. They coordinate resources, ensure deadlines are met, and provide consistent oversight to keep projects aligned with company goals.

Each project is managed by a Project Manager (PM), who oversees day-to-day operations, budgets, and schedules. The PM ensures that the project runs smoothly by collaborating with all team members and addressing challenges as they arise.

Project Engineers (PEs) provide technical expertise, working closely with the PM to manage plans, schedules, and critical documents. They ensure that technical specifications are met and work efficiently transitions from design to execution.

On-site, the Field Staff are the backbone of the project, handling the physical execution of plans. Supporting them are Supervisors (Sups) and Junior Supervisors (Junior Sups), who oversee the daily operations, ensure safety standards, and manage the workforce to maintain quality and productivity.

This intricate team dynamic allows projects to move seamlessly from idea to reality, with every member playing a pivotal role in delivering results.
